FLAINE (9) improved sharply on her fourth two starts back at this track with a win over 2000m at Lingfield All Weather three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by one length after she came with a powerful finish. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. TELECOMMUNICATION (5) was close to a maiden win before a five-and-a-half months break, finishing off with a placing over 1600m at Southwell All Weather. First try at this longer trip. Nicely placed and can kick this campaign off on a bright note. FRENCH HAVEN (1) resumes from a spell of five-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish eighth at the latest run over 1700m at Nottingham. Has ability so don't underestimate.
