DESERT CHAMPION (3) was a most impressive winner last time over 1000m at Chelmsford, scoring by 3 lengths. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and two minor placings from five outings. Should be in the finish. AY GEE ELL (5) is yet to break through in three runs. Finished fifth at his last appearance over 1200m at this track on March 11. Looks to be in the right race to play a big role. RUBY'S PROFIT (6) has not appeared since she finished third over 1200m at Newmarket (Rowley) on October 5. Makes plenty of appeal.
