Continued the trend at the most recent appearance when third over 1200m at Pakenham after she was prominent throughout. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. SCAMPI (4) is a locally trained maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 2.75 lengths back in fifth over 1000m at Flemington eight months ago. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Bold showing expected. KANANASKIS (2) returns after five-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a 13th over 1300m at Bendigo. Tuned up with a fourth in a recent trial at Cranbourne. Strong winning chance on best figures. ROSA AOTEAROA (3) raced once in the maiden preparation when eighth at Moonee Valley over 1200m back on November 1. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up.
