CHERISH THE DAY (9) returned from a spell three-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 1000m at Sandown-Hillside. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. RISHIRI (1) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 2.75 lengths back in third over 1212m at Kilmore. Likely improver with bright prospects. ZETALYN (13) went forward last start over 1112m at Kyneton and held on well for third, beaten 3 lengths. In a suitable race and can go on to take this out. MATTEI (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at Yarra Valley, beaten 4.5 lengths into seventh. Well placed to bounce back.
