SHIHAB (4) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by 0.7 lengths over 1400m at this track as favourite. That continued the solid form this campaign, with three wins and two minor placings from eight runs. Top chance again. QUOTHQUAN (15) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out after being in the firing line on the turn to score by a head as favourite over 1350m at Ipswich. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. OCEAN ALPS (11) scored last start at Sunshine Coast to make it five wins from nine starts this campaign. Will find this tougher but must be respected.
