ALVIN (1) is poised to win after placing at his last four outings, most recently when second over 1200m at Seymour when he was always up in the leading division. Goes up a rung or two but he is up to the task. IMPISH LADY (10) returns after seven months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 1206m at Sale. Placed in a recent trial. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. STORM CAPITAL (5) returned last time with a solid third at Pakenham over 1200m. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. EXCELAOT (2) finished 3 lengths away in fourth at his last appearance over 1000m at Warrnambool on March 10. Looks to be in the right race to figure in the finish.
