PLATINUM LIES (5) is a last-start winner over 1000m at Sunshine Coast, showing good early speed on the occasion and leading throughout to score by 1.3 lengths. Has a terrific record here with three wins and one minor placings from four starts. Expected to be in the finish. RICH MINX (6) showed good early speed when resuming before fading right out of it to finish seventh, beaten 5 lengths, at Doomben. Will take some running down. MISHANI GANGSTER (4) got the cash over 1100m at Gatton at his most recent appearance on August 20. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. DON'T BE DRAMATIC (9) improved last start to finish second over 1000m at Gold Coast. Suitably placed so he can figure again.
