CHARMING NIC (6) debuted two-and-a-half weeks ago when he finished fifth over 1300m at Sandown-Hillside, beaten 4 lengths. Fitter and with the blinkers on he makes considerable appeal. LUCKY DIAMOND (7) finished third, beaten 2.75 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1203m at Kyneton after he did his best work late. Hard to beat in this suitable race. NIC THE CASH (8) was lining up for just the second time last start when third over 1215m at Kyneton, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has upside and will be right in this. GLASS BAY (12) finished third last start over 1400m at Terang, beaten 1.4 lengths. Will be rock-hard fit. In the right race and is a top-three hope.
