CAPE CRUSADER (1) scored at this track last time out with a head to spare over today's journey. Is yet to miss the frame in six starts over this course and distance. Expected to measure up. EARL OF DEVON (6) was leading on the turn and fought on to finish second over 1625m at this track at his latest appearance. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Will prove tough to beat. ONOMATOPOEIA (2) proved too strong two runs ago at Dalby. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 2000m at Gatton, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. WHO ORDERED DAFISH (3) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1680m at Ipswich, beaten just 1.75 lengths. Cejay Graham gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Well placed and can figure in the finish again.
