RESTONICA (4) is resuming from a spell of four months and having his first run for the Pat Webster yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Newcastle over 1250m. Will be forward for this after a recent trial win at Toowoomba Inner Track. Well-placed and looks ready to fire. STAROSHKA (2) showed good early pace over 1050m at this track last time and kept going to score by a neck. Should be on-pace despite the tricky draw. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. NORTHERNONTAP (3) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1200m at this track, beaten only 1.3 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to take this out. DEPTH CHARGE (1) lines up for the first time since October 23. Looking to emulate his win at this track to kick off the last campaign. Makes plenty of appeal.
