Hard to beat in this suitable race. DESERT OPAL (5) is still a maiden after six starts but was placed at Albury when resuming before finishing fourth at Albury last start. Definite each-way hope. ABITSUSS (12) hasn't raced since finishing fifth at Canberra over 1600m five-and-a-half weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a placing in a recent trial at Goulburn. Makes plenty of appeal on best form.
