ARTHUR THE GREAT (5) missed the frame when resuming last start over 1400m at this track but wasn't all that far from the winner. Has never missed the frame when second-up. Should camp just off the leaders. Expecting a bold showing. FOX APPEAL (4) hit the frame two starts ago at Wangaratta but ran below par last time when 14th and beaten 10 lengths over 1600m at Caulfield. This is a nice drop in grade so he is sure to be prominent. EAMONN'S MEMORY (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at Towong, beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth after being in the firing line on the corner. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. KAHAWATY (6) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1200m at this track. Amy O'Driscoll who has two wins when partnering stays on. Can play a role in the finish.
