IMMORTAL JOY (8) is back from a break and will be improved on two recent trial placings. Rates a top hope and should be in the finish. ECHELON (2) is a five-start maiden who finished sixth, beaten 5.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1000m at Cranbourne. Among the leading chances with the run under his belt. JAHANGIR (3) stepped out on his debut over 1000m at Warrnambool three weeks ago and finished sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths. Should be thereabouts. BRAZENLY (5) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1000m at Cranbourne, beaten 4.5 lengths. This is a nice drop in grade so she will be hard to beat.
