SOREL RISING (1) has filled a minor placing at both runs this time in work, most recently when second over 1300m at Bendigo. Does have a strong third-up record. Among the leading chances. BANCORY BAY (2) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 1500m at Sandown-Hillside. Ready to bounce back today. QUEEN BEIRA (6) has been kept fresh since winning over 1500m at this track. Has since won a Mornington trial. Nicely placed and should be involved in the finish. FLASHBANG (3) ran below expectations last time at Kilmore over 1462m, finishing fourth and beaten 3 lengths. Better than the last run and is a top-three hope.
