KOVEL (3) is progressing nicely and wasn't too far away last time when second over 2000m at Cagnes-sur-Mer All Weather. Will drift back but wind up late. Leading contender. YOOX (8) was well supported when resuming last start but missed the placings in sixth over 1800m at this track. Generally runs well second-up. Solid top-three chance. NEPALAIS (14) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1900m at this track. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. OPALUS ROAD (4) finished third last time over 1700m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 5 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge.
