EXMEDI NO TSURUGI (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 6 lengths into fourth. This is a nice drop in grade so she is a major player. COMBAT GRANDE (7) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish sixth, beaten 8 lengths, over 800m at Urawa. Outsprinted in the run home but kept coming and looks suited by the extra ground. Sound each-way chance.
