TAUPO DANCER (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2200m at Waverley, beaten 1.1 lengths into fourth. Taking on a better line-up this time but he cannot be taken lightly. ITOJE (5) turned in a strong run last time when third at Waverley just seven days ago. Backing up quickly over the longer journey. Good effort last start and should be in the finish. PORTRAIT (7) went forward last time but couldn't quicken in the run home and finished fourth over 1800m at Taupo. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around.
