LEAVE A LIGHT ON (5) finished 2.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 2040m at Wanganui, an improvement on her sixth at New Plymouth Raceway the run before. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. URASKYFULLASTARS (6) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a spell, the latest when seventh over 1400m at New Plymouth Raceway. Has further improvement to come and will be tough to beat. SONGWRITER (3) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 1650m at Waverley. Races well when second-up. Should be prominent from the outset. One of the main contenders. SMARTROAD (10) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.8 lengths over 2200m at Waverley. Nicely placed to play a big role.
