MORNING COCOA (7) ran a better race last start when she did her best work late to finish a close second over 1400m at Waverley after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Likely improver with strong prospects. HAUGHTY (1) is a seven-start maiden who is well and truly overdue, finishing second at Pukekohe over 1400m last time out. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. ANDORRA (2) is a three-start maiden who could only manage to finish fourth at her latest appearance over 1600m at Te Aroha. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for her. SO EXCITED (8) could only manage to finish tenth, beaten 5.5 lengths, at her latest appearance over 1400m at Pukekohe. Likely to be thereabouts.
