ERI KOHAKU (1) comes here off a break of four months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1000m at Monbetsu. Capable of playing a major role. SHINANO SMILE (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 800m at this track, beaten only a neck after being prominent at the turn. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. SEIUN HARUKANI (5) drew wide and was pretty plain last time out when 11 lengths from the winner in 11th at this course and distance. A better showing is expected. NORTH PRIMA (6) returned from a spell three-and-a-half weeks ago when she was in the firing line on the turn before being beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth over 800m at this track. Fitter so a likely improver.
