GUZZLER (4) returned from a break with a solid fourth, winding up late over 1400m at this track after settling well back. Outsprinted in the run home but kept coming and the extra ground looks a big plus. Expected to prove tough to stop. ITOJE (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2060m at Wanganui, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Steps up a level but she is worth another chance. WHOOSHKA (8) wound up strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1600m at Otaki. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. SOUL CATCHER (6) was beaten 2.25 lengths into seventh at the second run back from a break over 1400m at this track last time out. Well placed to bounce back.
