SAFFREDI (1) is back from a spell of five-and-a-half months. Scored a good win at his final run last campaign at this track over 1200m. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. NUBOUGH (6) finished sixth two runs back at Chelmsford then improved last time out to score by a neck after being in the firing line on the bend over 1200m at Chelmsford. Worth noting William Carson goes aboard. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. BOMB SQUAD (2) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a third most recently over 1400m at Newcastle All Weather when beaten 0.8 lengths. Worth including again.
