Has had the benefit of two trials leading into this. Rates on top and is a great chance to open the campaign with a win. MACCBI (4) is yet to break through after three career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Goulburn two starts back before finishing fifth over 1200m at Goulburn last start. Cannot be left out of calculations. DAVIKAR (7) ran a much better race at her second outing last start to finish third over 1100m at Nowra after being in contention on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. MURPHILLY (6) finished fourth over 1000m at Gosford when resuming last start, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
