PELOSA (11) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1300m at Hawkesbury, scoring by 2.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Sure to prove tough to beat again with that win now under her belt. MISS SPACEGIRL (9) hasn't been too far away of late, the latest effort a fourth, beaten 1.4 lengths, at Kembla Grange over 1500m. Facing a tougher assignment but can measure up. PIPERITA (10) didn't do a bad job to finish a nose away in second last start over 1250m at Newcastle. That followed a first-up win at Wyong. Meets some better types this time but she has the talent to test this line-up. HALLETT (2) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 1350m at Wyong after being up on the pace until straightening. Good enough on her day and can play a prominent role.
