BELLE HISTOIRE (3) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a strong race when resuming from a spell last time out over 1800m at this track, finishing second and beaten one length. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. FLORAL SCENT (8) showed good early speed last start before boxing on well and finishing third, beaten 5.5 lengths, over today's trip at Hanshin Dirt. Nicely placed to go a couple better. ROUGE SALINAS (6) returns from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when 15th over 2200m at Nakayama. Under the care of new trainer Kota Kato this prep. Will drift back but wind up late. Top three prospects.
