MON CHERI (9) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just a neck from the winner in second over 1400m at this track after being in contention on the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. KALPA (4) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 16 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 3.5 lengths. Placed to advantage and can make his presence felt. TRUMAN TESORO (5) has registered three minor placings from three runs this preparation. Produced another good performance last time out when second over 1400m at this track after he was handy all the way. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GRANDE SFIDA (10) is returning from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Finished fourth at Kyoto Dirt over 1400m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Yuta Sato.
