TROBRIAND (6) produced a good effort when narrowly defeated last time at Taupo over 1400m. Great chance to score. KARMAN LINE (4) is coming off a last-start 14th, beaten 6 lengths, over 1400m at Matamata. Should be in this for a long way. FIRST FIVE (7) was a narrow winner two back at Tauranga then in the placings last time at Matamata. Drops significantly in the weights this time. Has been in sound form this prep with two wins from four starts. Has to be respected. CHATTAHOOCHEE (2) was well in the market when resuming last start but failed to threaten when a disappointing sixth at New Plymouth Raceway over 1100m. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Must be respected.
