VOLCANIC LOVE (2) got the prize two runs ago at Doomben. Less impressive last time out when fourth over 1410m at Lismore, beaten 3.5 lengths. Yet to miss the placings from four starts at this circuit. Finds an easier assignment and can rediscover winning form. CHANGE THE DATE (14) finished just under two lengths away from the winner last time at Coffs Harbour and gets some weight relief here. Should be poised just off the lead. One of the main contenders. PUNGO (3) has not won for a long while. Last raced on February 22 when beaten 6 lengths into tenth at Gold Coast over 1300m after being in contention on the turn. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish.
