BESKAR (1) sat just off the speed and fought on well to finish third when resuming last start at this course and distance. Should settle handy in the run. Will prove tough to beat. AKAYSHA (11) settled back before coming home strongly to score on debut over 1000m at Kembla Grange a week-and-a-half ago. Likely improver who should run well again. GRAND EAGLE (2) broke through for his maiden win over 1100m at Hawkesbury last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and he is worth including. HIDDEN MOTIVE (3) was in contention on the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1200m at Warwick Farm, beaten a neck. Meets some better types this time but a big run will not surprise.
