LISZTOMANIA (9) just missed last time when second over 1400m in the Country Championships Final at this track. Has performed well at this shorter trip in the past. Leading player again. KING OF ROSEAU (8) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 12 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1100m at Warwick Farm, beaten 0.9 lengths. Worth noting Tom Sherry goes aboard. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. MOGUL MONARCH (4) raced on the speed last time but faded to finish 15th over 1400m in the Provincial Championships Final at this track two weeks ago. Anna Roper has been in the money at every start aboard this three-year-old gelding so a top-three finish is on the radar.
